My favorite photos from week 17, 2025

Blue and orange have dominated last week.

Although the sky was mostly cloudless in the morning, the sunrises have been very colorful in the past few days, and I was on the hunt for new ways of photographing the nearby Le Dramont cape and Île d’Or island.

Sticks that kids played with on the beach the previous day offered great framings that changed every day.

I have no idea how the wind could make the pattern of this contrail possible is.

Just like the above photo of the sunbursts through a few wooden sticks, it’ll never be an award-winning photo, of course, but I post those here as a simple reminder that beauty can take many forms and it’s all around (and above) us if we just take the time to look.
